Mission Statement
Young Muslims is an organization dedicated to addressing the vital roles the Muslim youth should play in North America. With different programs attuned to the youths' critical stage in life, we seek to address real-life problems and give the support needed to live our lives as dedicated Muslim youth. At this age where temptations are on the rise and flagrant behavior encouraged, Young Muslims attempts to counteract these influences by challenging the youth to take the best of all paths in both this world and in the Hereafter.
We enjoin one another in the sweet struggle to perfect our faith with the Quran and Sunnah as our guides. A physical manifestation of our Imaan requires a support group of individuals keen on learning about Islam in an organized atmosphere.
We accomplish this noble goal through activities catered to a youth's frame of mind. Weekly gatherings of study circles called NeighborNets are an essential part of YM. Our other activities include Sister chill sessions, Fehmul-Quran classes, seminars, Project Ummah, National Volunteering Day, local summer retreats, sporting events, Dawah camps, annual intensive training programs, Qiyam-ul-Layl programs, Eid parties and more.
